Digital East Riding sets out how we will deliver the services and infrastructure our citizens need in order to thrive and live happy, healthy lives, now and for years to come.
It’s about how we can use technology to achieve more, with less, to serve our residents better and tailor how we deliver services to meet differing needs in the East Riding.
Our vision
Becoming a ‘digital’ council will help us to exploit the transformational opportunities that digital tools and technologies offer, ensuring that we can offer the very best service to our local communities in the most efficient way.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has proudly launched its innovative, engaging and ongoing Digital East Riding strategy which is focused towards supporting residents, local businesses and communities in the region.
The University of Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire, Hull City, North East Lincolnshire and North Lincolnshire councils – in a joint partnership project – were announced as the deserving winners of the Digital Impact category at the LGC Awards 2021.
Two government-funded projects which will deliver full fibre broadband to primary schools in some of the hardest-to-reach rural areas of the East Riding have been successfully completed.
